Rituals
South Africa map

The word rituals refers to a cultural performance done for a particular purpose. In African culture there are a number of rituals performed. When one for an example comes from prison the family can slaughter a cow as cleansing purpose. It is regarded as the person comes out is not clean. By slaughtering the cow uses the blood and muti is to take out bad spirits. This makes sense to the people who believe in this practice. Also when there is death in the family certain ritual is performed by the family. They will choose who to perform the ritual. At times a sangoma is required to perform the ritual.

Another time of performing rituals is when someone has consulted the sangomas by using bones to find out what could be the problem the member of the family has bad spirits. It might be the person always involved in car accidents or not able to stay longtime at work. It bones will be able to tell the person is not lazy but due to the ancestors being angry with her /him. He/she might have not listened to the instructions or guidance given to him through the dreams or other ways the ancestors using to communicate with him. Natural rights and Natural justice do allow anyone to practice whatever religion one chosen.

Rituals are part of culture and traditions. Some rituals are performed during and after weddings. It is very important for people to be opened minded. This is part of freedom of association and practice.

Readers are welcome to debate about how the feel however it is fundamental wrong to try to judge and tell other people that their practice is wrong using your own cultural values.
