Language is one of the elements of identity and directly linked to
culture. Natural rights and Natural law makes it possible for every
individual to have language. It is a tool of communication.
Recognition of language boots the sense of belonging. Conducts of
individuals maybe traced from language and the influence of both the
communities and society at large.

Family structures carry language as an identity and the tool of
communication. It makes sense in South Africa for one to learn as many
languages as possible. In business and social life the tool of
communication is language. Parents are able to impart informal
education at homes by using the language. During the process of
imparting informal education it is very important for the custodian of
the language group to speak the proper one without mixing with other
words from other groups.

Human being need to be proud of their languages and develop the sense
of pride. Then one can be in a position to learn other languages. As
the saying states “charity begins at home”. This makes sense because
language goes with customs, traditions, values and other important
elements related. Young and people in general need to be encouraged to
have love of themselves by making an effort to master their home
languages before making an effort to learn foreign one. The foundation
of development of cultures is central or embedded to the language.
The moment one speaks and practices his /her culture it is the exposing
of it. That gives other people to recognize and later it may encourage
other to people to respect both the language and its culture.

Readers are invited to give their views with regard to the role of
language in human beings. Looking forward to hear contrasting or
people who agree with the sentiments expressed in this website.
